I am having a lot of trouble viewing my PHP code that I am writing. I am using Notepad ++ currently to write my PHP within an html document. If I save it as a .html document, the PHP code doesnt work, but simply shows up as text. If I save it as a .php and try to open it it doesnt open (I do not have dreamweaver...do I really need it?) I was told recently to use Apache and something called WAMP which I downloaded and now have, but I have no clue or no idea how to use this to view my php files. I know Javascript, and just recently have been learning PHP and I do not understand how to view my code using Apache or anything. Please help! I am so confused, and right now I can't even view my "hello world" file. Thanks!
