I have a project at summer and I have been told to build a real time action website where users can (so-called) transfer money and play some sort of trivia games and/or table games then win some money etc. I have a strong C background and would be confident but seeing the most websites built with PHP makes me wonder if I should use CGI or PHP. I'd feel more comfortable with CGI but not sure which one would be more secure for this project? I'll be also responsible for the security. I'd like to know what would you do if you were in my situation?
