PHP Login User Session help !?

Hi !

I made a login page and a index page that shows some info about the logged user.

I sign up under my infos and then the index page shows me the details of the first user from the 1st row from the database not for the current user.

i used dreamweaver 8 to do this. can you give me some help or suggest me a tutorial/training..
