I asked this question a while ago but had to delete it because I didn't explain myself properly, so here it is again with better details. I have this script and it is performing the calculations to provide an instant quote script fine in IE and also making only certain boxes editable when a particular radio button is clicked. However in Firefox or Safari it isn't working.

How do I get this to work in Firefox and Safari? Why would it work in IE but not the others?

Astano - I will make the changes you suggested.
Ok changing the 'disabled' to true didnt work but I changed them anyway seeing thats the correct way. Any other suggestions?
