Photoshop Vs.Corel painterX for photography?

What would be better? So far what I found was that PainterX is probably better for paintings,but it sounds like it would be easier to use. So far I haven't really heard much about photoshop but I am still looking for mor information on it. Opinions please!

PHOTOSHOP!!! It's harder to learn, but way better!

Photoshop is much much better if you know what your doing and how it works , otherwise if your just a begginer use the PainterX but it is alot better for painting but it still works very good and if you can't figure those out use online things like fotoflexer or picnik

Photoshop is great for image editing, color balancing and so on.

Corel is just a little child....
