Okay, so I've had Photoshop CS5 for a while now, everything works great. I installed it on a second computer and still, everything worked wonderfully. But for some reason, I can't recolor things.
For example, if I'm drawing in it with a pink-colored brush, and I want to recolor it orange, I would normally lock the opacity and use an orange-colored brush to go over it. For some reason when I try to do this, it simply doesn't do anything. Like I'm using an invisible brush. So instead, I unlocked the opacity and tried it. Still nothing, but when I colored over an area that wasn't yet colored, the orange showed up.
I found that the only way for me to recolor things was to set the eraser color to orange, lock the opacity, and just "erase" AKA color it orange, but that gets highly frustrating.
Does anyone know how I can fix this or what is causing the problem?
