Okay I have a picute i took from my camera phone (k850i). It's a 5mp camerra but the flash is a bit to strong and taking off the flash makes the image blurry. So i'm stuck with an image that has to much expose to light. In my picture that i took, my friends face is white. is there anyway on photoshop cs3 , to make my friends face look normal and not over exposed?

On the top of photo shop you see File Edit Image and so on. Well go to image then tow down it says adjustments. hover your clicker over that then choose from Auto colour, Auto level or Auto contrast. just choose one to see what its like then you use edit>step back if you don't like it and try another.

Usually Auto colour then Auto level does the trick for me.

there is another way that you can do it and its like setting the exposure on your camera. Just go to the same thing again Image then scroll down until you come to Exposure then slide the bar left or right depending on how you want it to look.

hope that helps, here's a screen shot too :)

Hmm,
How about playing around with the brightness/contrast? (Image/Adjust/Brightness&Contrast)
Or adding another layer, fill it with Brown or Sepia and set the Opacity to about 35 or 45%.
That should tone your picture down and make it a little less bright.
Also, you should play around with the color balance and see what fits your picture.
Just a suggestion.
