I just converted a color digital image to grayscale in Photoshop. The size of the color file was 320 KB, and now the size of the grayscale file is 685 KB. Does anyone know why changing an image to grayscale increases the file size?...I would think that grayscale would require less space.
Photoshop...Color/black and white photo differences...?
