Okay so I just downloaded a free trial of Adobe Photoshop CS4. When I try to create/edit ANYTHING, the backround has gaps/triangles in that dont change. If I bring an image around there, it overlaps it or bends it. Its really weird, and hard to explain. I'm new, please help!!!

thats normal,
photoshop puts those diamond shaped things in there to show you what is not part of your image.
that way you can see how much white space you have as part of your image.

do this:
take any image that you see those gaps/triangles in and save/export the image as a jpeg or gif file. then open the file in any other program (such as "paint")
you should see the image "normally"
