Photos in folder load slowly, after Blue Screen. Can this be fixed?

I'd say this is my own fault. I was deleting a whole bunch of photos and went to the recycle bin before they were finished being sent there and ended up getting a blue screen.

I started up in Safe Mode and everything but the photos load up slower than say photos I have in another folder. Should I move this folder somewhere else if it's a memory problem?
