Photos from iPod Touch to Mac?

I just got a new mac because my old PC broke, and it had all of my music, iTunes, etc. on it. I had, however, saved several pictures onto my iPod Touch. If I were to sync the iPod to the new Mac, would I be able to get the pictures (which are saved on my iPod) on the Mac as well?
