So I'm in need of some advice. I have been doing photography for about 8 years on and off and have recently decided to dive right in full bore and buy a brand new Nikon D80 with 2 VR lenses and a sb 600 as my first flash. Let me also add that i work full time as an Graphic Designer and have also purchased my first Mac G5 with CS3 Master Collection on it. Im not a stranger to photography and graphics but I guess what I'm looking for is maybe some "tips" I have been doing mostly weddings and engagement pictures just to build my reputation and my portfolio. I started low balling my cost of hire just to get jobs but now that i am producing images people seem to be going crazy and love my work, which is great but i kinda feel like i need to panic. While I know that my fill flash works for obviously filling the room with light and decreasing shadows, I still get them sometimes, maybe I need more practice but i notice some photographers use those brace looking things to get height with their flash. I guess in the future (near) I would also maybe like to buy some strobes so i can also do portraits in doors. I guess im looking for some one to guide me to the right answers and what should be my next steps or purchases? Thanks!
