Basically I'm a noob who went out and purchased the canon T1i and have a couple of questions that I want answered by photographers who are experienced.
1. Is it basically morally wrong to edit photos on like Photoshop (Contrast, lighting, skin blemishes, saturation) in terms of professional sense?
2. do photographers like high fashion or portrait tend to edit their photos as well? in what ways? an example that comes to mind is annie leibovitz? does she edit those amazingly dark photos of hers?
3. Is it look down upon by other photographers? because I don't want to like take a really good photo and overly edit it, print it, put it in my room, and have someone critique on how fake it is and how the computer basically did it for me.
Also, any other photography tips anyone wants to share would be great and very much appreciated, also please remember I'm still getting my feet wet in this art style I'm not that well introduced too.
Thanks.
