Okay, I am going to Europe in a few weeks on a school trip and I am planning on bringing my DSLR camera. Usually, I get carried away with taking pictures on it and end up with having taken over 500 at the end of the day. I have an 8GB memory card, but just to be sure I would like to take some sort of external device that I can "dump" my pictures on at the end of the day.
1. I am NOT looking to buy another memory card because they are expensive and I tend to lose them unless they are inside my camera. So please no one suggest that.
2. No, I will not just "take less pictures"... so no one suggest that either. haha.
3. I know there are such things as external hard drives? Could anyone with experience with those tell me a little bit about them?
4. Anyone who has been in my shoes before have any suggestions?
I don't mind spending a little bit of money, but let's keep the suggestions under $50.
