Photography project: Ideas of things out of place?

I have an advance photography project. And the topic is "Things out of place" and the pictures must be taken outdoors. I'm using a 35mm camera so everything will be black and white. I have no idea what to shoot. One example he gave us is a pot on a tree. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance. :]

Brain storm and think of ideas. Go into a room and look at the objects and think where would be an insane place to put them.

I will not give you an exact example, I want you to get creative and have fun. Also when you get a good grade, it will be more rewarding to you. :)

Good luck!

Many gardeners plant things in old tubs and toilet seat rounds. You might ask in gardening and specific to the city you live in. Some may let you take pix of their out of place things.
Also go into a crafty what not shop. Often people place chairs on walls and window frames topsy turvy for effect.
Make things out of place in your own setting if nothing else. Place a comfy chair in a rock garden, a table setting in the dirt, a beauriful painting outside, dandylions or other clearly defined weeds in a planter, beer cans in a flower garden, a shoe hanging on a telephone wire, a hobo sleeping in a park. There are really endless subjects if you look for them.

Well, you could really take just about anything that isn't an outdoors item and stick it outside. However, for maximum impact I would really go for something that looks out of place outside. Here's some ideas to get you started:

Toaster on a fence post.

Can of Raid on a park bench.

Coffee mugs or drinking glasses (made of glass), wine glasses on a picnic table.

A lamp on the beach.

Formal dinnerware setup on a patio table.

Silverware in a garden.

Television in a field.

DVDs lined up on some patio steps.

Toilet plunger by a fire hydrant.

By the way, sounds like a fun project! Have fun with it!
