Photography Printers?

If your a Photographer what do you use?

I do photography, Right now I am using a Local Photo Lab. for studio shoots & When I shoot for events and do on site printing I use Canon - PIXMA (sorry don't know the exact model, the prints come out really good for on site printing but TO ME not up to standards for my studio shoots

What printer should I buy for the best prints?...

I also KINDA Prefer the Lab Prints ALOT cheaper! , but some things the lab just can't do.

If your a Photographer what do you use?
 
I personally do not use ink jet printers. Never cared for the quality.


All of my color prints are RA-4 such as Kodak Endura and Fuji Crystal Archive. I use MPIX.COM and local labs mostly.


If you do decide to use ink jet printers them make sure you are using pigment ink. I have found that dye ink will start to shift/fade in as little as 6 months. That would be terrible for your reputation.
