Photography jobs for training..?

Where could an 18 year old girl find a photography job for like training ? even if its just assistance? I love photography its my passion and goal in life lol.. i only ever seen one thing on craigs list but they never got back to me..Any ideas?

go to ur local newspaper and get one there

I'd advise taking photos on your own time and making an online portfolio. From there make some business cards and put the portfolio address on them. Also, try and make an allegiance to your local band scene. They can open a lot of doors for business and A LOT of people see your work.
