Photography in low lit church at wedding?

[bah bah bah]

so, if a photographer is going to take pictures at a wedding and the church doesnt allow any flash, and its one of those really dimmly lit churches with tiny lights and candles...

..how the heck do you take a photo without everything becoming blurry, under exposed, and in a sense... crap?
