I was curious what places are you not allowed to take photos in Italian attractions?
I plan on going to Venice, Florence, Rome, the Frasassi Caves, Pompeii, and the Museum in Naples that holds some of the discoveries from Pompeii.
I'll likely be hitting up most of the 'hot spots' in these cities, and would like to know where I can or can not take photos. If photos are not permitted, do they confiscate your camera before you enter or just ask you not to?
I'm not trying to be disrespectful, just trying to gain knowledge before I go.
