PHOTOGRAPHY HELP please?

i am new at photography but i would like a DSLR camera.

is there any out there, that are a good camera (not too pro) but good enough for good photos, that are a reasonable price?
i am not paying 400$ for my first real camera that isn't digital.
is a DSLR camera a good start? or too much? i just really really love those depth of field photos, and a digital can't do that.

so please,
if anyone knows any good camera for a reasonable price, (preferably not in the 100's) but thanks. i was looking toward more like 20 or 30$ if thats possible.

im new at this so please give me any tips, or things i shouldn't do that you've learned. i dont understand the mm on the lens, does it matter what one you use?

give me any information you know on being a good photographer.
 
i just brought a canon 1000Dslr tlk for 998$ and i am in australia i also didnt understand most functions but it only took me 1 day to figure it out, also a 10mp digital camera will take really good photo's too if you want good photo's, it is the person behind the camera that makes the picture unique not the camera, i have been doing photography since i was 12 and i have been using digital 10.1mp and have shot some awsome photo's so i would not rule out a normal digital just yet cuz thhey can be good picture takerrs too good luck
 
The depth of field can be shot using the Portrait mode in the PS but I will admit that it is far controllable when using an SLR.

Unfortunately, you can't get a DSLR for 20 or 30.

If you are serious in taking on photography, buy a second-hand FILM SLR as FILM SLRs are considered to be training wheels in photography. You will learn a lot from using a FILM SLR and your eyes would be trained.

As for Photography lessons, it would be too lengthy to be written here. Read online or better yet, read books about photography; I prefer books written by people who knows photography well as I learn much from them.

Agfa Billy or Argus C3 can be found for those prices. Basic photography. Excellent way to learn.

A Canon 20D and a 50mm f/1.8 EF could probably be found for $400 with a bit of shopping around. Adorama, KEH, eBay.
 
I doubt you're going to get a good camera for $20 or $30..
DSLR usually run between $200 & $800.
You can try to find one on ebay or craigslist for a cheaper price.
But I don't think it will be $20 or $30 unless something's wrong with it.
 
Stick to Canon or Nikon. They have the best camera's hands down, it's all the professionals use, and you can't go wrong on a model. And I'm so sorry to tell you that you can't get a decent digital camera for $50 much less DSLR. Just go to Ebay, type in "Digital Slr Nikon" and "Digital SLR Canon" and select "PRICE PLUS SHIPPING-LOW TO HIGH" and it will show you the cheapest starting price so you will know what your looking at. Just go with the one that has the highest MegaPixels for the best price.

Just keep in mind to either make sure it comes with a lens or expect to pay for the camera body and lens separately. A good lens to start out with is something in the range of 25-75mm gives enough for landscape and zooms sufficiently too. Then later you can add a 75-300mm zoom lens and a wide angle lens. As a beginner you can use off brand lenses because their is quite a price difference between high and low end lenses.
