I got an Olympus SP570 for my birthday, and I wasn't happy with the pictures it was producing. SO I returned it, and the guy at the store asked me many questions about the photography I did. He recommended that I get the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 and that it did great for macro, but also worked for other types of photography. I'm not liking the colours or textures of any of the non-macro pictures, no matter what settings I change. I was wondering if it's the camera, or me...?

I really hope the above makes sense.. But I'm tired... And this is frustrating me =]

Instead of getting what they "recommend" get what people actually prove to be good.

Get a Canon Rebel XT or XTI

Do you even read manuals?

Answer this question and I think you will understand what I'm trying to convey: If you buy a hammer, does it make you a Carpenter?

Something you need to read.
