I am trying to set up a home based photography studio to take clothing photographs to sell items on a website. I do not have alot of money to spend so I am using 2 x works mans lights tripod sets at 500w each against a white cloth backdrop. How best would I set up the lighting to avoid shadows and the dull greyish background I am getting? There is more than enough light in the room so I am confused why my background is grey. I have changed my white balance settings and still I can not achieve a crisp white background. Any advise would be fantastic because this is driving me crazy I just can't seem to get it right!
