I'm doing the photography for a Military Ball tomorrow. I have a black and white backdrop and they said they wanted simple. Should I do the black with the white kinda draped and waved to the side? Or what? I'm not sure what to do that will look elegant yet simple..

I have studio lighting, but I was wondering if I could just use my external flash. Do you think the lighting would come out ok? What settings would you use for this? It's an indoor event.
I'm an amatuer photographer, and I'm doing this as a favor for a friend. I need help! lol
