Photography effect question?

I'm getting married and have seen several recent wedding photos that have almost an old/vintage/washed out look to them. I'd like to tell my photographer friend that I would like that effect. Does anyone know what it is called?
It's not sepia...but thanks. It's still color photos. She'll be shooting with a digital. Any other effects you can think of?
 
It is done in post processing ... By old/vintage/washed out, you mean sepia then it can be done easily. All you have to do is pay for this service
