I did a photoshoot about a month ago in which i was supposed to be given a cd with all the images taken.
there was no contract or anything signed. this is an aspiring photographer that asked me to pose for promotional purposes but i was not compensated for doing it either.
the photographer released a few images by posting them on his myspace. i particularly liked one of the images but in order to set it as my default image (for modeling promotion purposes as well) i cropped the image to just a head shot.
the photographer then messaged me asking me to restore it to it's default because the copyright sign had to be visible (the copyright wasn't a normal copyright, it was about 18-22pt font size!) due to copyright issues and liability or something along those lines...
do i really not have any right to these images?
