i want to get into photography...what would be a good camera to start out with?

IT WILL BE A GOOD SECOND BODY AFTER YOU UPGRADE. CANON OPTICS ARE SUPERB. GOOD RANGE OF AFTERMARKET LENSES TOO. SIGMA BEING REALLY GOOD. NIKON MAKE GOOD DSLR's too
