Photography assignment? I'm a little lost..?

So I've been asked by an acquaintance to get some shots for her for prom, but she said she wanted out of the box photos.

One- I'm nervous as hell.

Two- How does one take out of the box PROM pictures? lol

I do abstract photography all the time, but I can't think of any poses, etc. for her to do.. help?
