Photography and Canon 450D (Rebel XSi) help?

I'm buying a Canon 450D in about 3 months. And i'm not exactly an expert in photography.. can you please tell me everything i need to know about photography and this camera? Like what is aperature, exposure, etc?

Please help me. 10 points to best answer.
And do not try to convince me to buy a different camera.. I want this one.
