My Palm Desktop is suddenly unable to upload photos to my T3.

I downloaded the desktop software from PalmOne and reinstalled with no success.

Is this an issue with the new XP service pack? I really haven't tried to upload any new photos since I upgraded my XP.

Thanks for any help

Are you uploading to the SD card or to the handheld. If it's to the card, perhaps it has become locked via the lock tab. The lock tab should be in the released position which is closer to the contacts then the bottom.

Also, could be a bad card although I've not seen one read and not be able to be written to.

If your Hot Syncing successfully then it's doubtful that Bill Gates's latest "patch" has caused a conflict.

One other thing to check.....how many pictures and how big are you trying to sync? If there is a huge amount then the sync would take a long time. A 256MB card can take up to 45 minutes to sync via the Hot Sync operation.

Check the Hot Sync log and post any specific error messages that are being generated to provide us with more info that might help point to a possible solution.

Here ya go Moose. Thanks again for your help. Now if I could just get this @#$%^&**%$#@! Bluetooth to work with my PC.

I'd say that the desktop isn't converting the file to the Palm Photo desktop....unfortunately that's the best I can do since my T3 has been off line for sometime while'st I await the Blackberry 7100t. And the Treo photos is different enough.

How big is that jpg file?

You're right, the desktop isn't converting it, but that changed all of a sudden which makes me wonder what's happening. Maybe I should just dump it and go with another photo product 'cause I gotta have pics of the grandkids in the Plam.

Any suggestions on a substitute Photo program?
