H her Guest Mar 25, 2009 #1 I have a strange and stupid question. If I edited a photo and sent it to someone, could they revert the photo back to it's original state if they opened it with the same program. Or am I a looney toon?

C caveman Guest Mar 25, 2009 #2 Depends. If you sent them the copy in its native program. Then Maybe. But if you only send them say a jpg then no. When editing a picture in say adobe photoshop you can save it as .psd this will save original information along with the photo. But if you save it as .jpg then only the finished photo is saved and all the pre editing is discarded.
