phone with gif capabilities

I want a phone that i can upload gif and flash images off of my computer.
I also would like the phone to have a keyboard, and im not sure what it is called but my friends treo 650 puts the texts messages as if it were an i.m. so you can see the whole conversation i thinks its sms but the guy at verizon said that he did not know of any verizon phone that did that but my friend is on verizon so i dont know what to think
