phone with email, cheap international plan and X-platform (mac & pc) compatible

I'd probably prefer a phone with a full qwerty keyboard. I've seen a few nokias which seem cool but not actually for sale. I travel to europe a lot so it needs to be with a reasonable plan. Mp3 players, cameras, etc. would be cool but the main concern here is that I am not killed financially if I use the phone to check my email when abroad.
