Phone Problem? Mozerella T-mobile. I got it about 2 years ago?

I got a mozerella phone about 2 and a half years ago. I have dropped it before, but never had liquid on it. I made the mistake of sometimes bringing the phone into the bathroom when I showered, but I quickly stopped that after I learned it killed the battery. About a day ago, I would flip my phone, and all I would get is a blank white screen. I tried pressing the X button, and it usually took me right back to my background screen. But yesterday, it shut off randomly. Then turned back on. Now the white screen will NOT go away. I tried taking out the battery, turning it off and back on, and even went to a chain T-mobile store. They just recommended I get a loaner for $60. But I might as well just pay for an upgrade then. But my question is, does anyone know of a way I can at least see my text messages? I'm dying to know who texted me, and kinda worried because when I texted my usual people on my sisters phone, none of them responded. I'd also like to keep my pictures/videos/texts if possible.
