~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~lol at like new.its never new. And its garbage.stll waitin for someone to show me why a bb is so great (OTHER than for business.

I went thru 3 Pearls on AT&T before they finally gave me an 8310. But I had to ask them to give me the alternative. I knew what to do because I took the time to research and ask on this site. I knew going in what I needed to do. Forewarned is forearmed, as the old saying goes.

As far as a comment you made in an earlier post, yesn T-Mo does expect you to know how to do basic troubleshooting. Your Doctor expects you to know the basics of staying healthy. Your Dentist assumes you know you should brush your teeth. Your Mechanic expects you to know how to check your oil and schedule routine maintenance on your car.
Why would you think something as complex as a smartphone does not require any effort on your part to learn?

i agree with latufu a smart phone is a bit of a commitment to learn if you have not already but once you learn problems seem to get less and less,
on a side note i my self am on my third 8320 from tmobile, all three under warranty first one got dropped in a puddle, thank god the moisture sticker did not change,
second one had call quality issues, exchanged after problem was isolated to phone,
still on third one seems to be great..... never had a problem with tmobile once i switched to BB from MS crap phones. if you are nice to their reps they usually will help you out if you tell them what you want.

yea know a little about it. but not troubleshooting every other day, and waste my time having to call them. im always nice to them as well as everyone. they talk to you most the time in a nice way ONLY if they are having a good day. point is,if ya cant handle customers, you need not be working in that feild.and YES its will all providers, but im with tmobile.

thanks Erica "
Games, MP3 player, video playback, instant messaging, themes, wallpapers, camera, browser, etc." i had all that on my sanyo m1. had stereo speakers as well, and yes instant messenger was same really cause mine always freezes on bb. i know i write alot of negative things here, dont mean to, but after 6 or 7 bbs. its kinda hard. ive an 8820 n0w, so far its good. again ty all for the support . and not bootin me off the site lol.

A little trick I taught myself to make the process even less painful (due to the fact that I had 3 8100's last year)...I troubleshoot for at least a week if not more before giving in and replacing the phone and/or SIM card. CSR's really appreciate this as this makes their job MUCH easier. All I have to do when I call them is the following:

Phone Model
What the problem is that I'm having
What I did before calling and if it worked or not
Ask for assistance in case I missed a step or 2, and if ALL ELSE FAILS
Ask for replacement

In fact, I JUST went thru this process when my SIM died. I had spotty service for a week until I just got fed up and took my phone in. Had a new SIM in less than 10 minutes and was back on my phone in 1 hour.
