I am looking for an 850Mhz GSM unlocked phone for use in Lima, Peru. Most people here use text messaging due to the relatively large cost difference between SMS and voice calls. Anyway, I need a very basic phone with a lot of storage space. I currently have a very basic motorola that stores about 30 incoming texts. I use this in a matter of days and I like to keep a couple weeks worth of history at least.
I don't need or want a camera, MP3 etc etc. I just need a phone that is geared for text messagers like myself but without all the frills that I'll never use.
Can anyone recommend a phone? I'm not partial to any make or model.

Fancy features: no
Storage capacity: yes, most important req
Keypad geared for text messaging: helpful, not required
Easily unlockable: yes, required
