Phone for (almost) seniors

Hi Guys, Im looking for a new phone for my dad.

The phone my dad has currently (SE T237) is LITERALLY falling apart... and for the longest time have refused to change it, but its starting to malfunction badly so I am going to force him to change it... >.>

There are only a few requirements, but I have not used anything but blackberrys for the last 3-4 yrs so I have kinda lost track with the rest of the industry.

Requirements:
GSM network
large font (decent sized screen) for easy reading of the numbers and contacts
STURDY!! he drops the phone from time to time... reason why it's falling apart
Easy to use
Prefer something where the sound is not low
Prefer SE, Nokia

New or used ok. I will hunt for the phone myself I just dont know what's a good phone to fit these requirements anymore...

is there an SE equivalent you can recommend? He seems to like the programming on the T237, even though it's already a decade old...
 
A modern SE won't be anything like his old one, so there wouldn't be a difference to him between a new SE and a new Nokia.
 
I see... yah I dont know how much of a difference the UI have become. My mom has an SE Z310 and the UI seems fairly similar. Again I have no idea what the newer ones look like with all the new fancy technology that's happening.

I remember the last phone I liked (this was abt 2-3 yrs ago now) was the Z710, sturdy, bulky and it seems to be able to take quite a bit of punishment (plus my dad wont be pocket dialing me if it's a flip!!)

I dont know tho... please enlighten me with current options? :D
