Phone drivers

I wonder if anyone can help. I have been trying without success to find out when, if ever, Palm will be producing a driver for a Nokia 3200 to use it with my T2. I am told by them that it is "demand driven" and that a driver may be produced in the future. I have asked Nokia about it and their attitude is that the phone does not require the driver, but the Palm does.
Is there anyone who produces generic phone drivers so that I can avoid this nonsense?

I don't have that particular phone, so I can't offer any specific information. However, I would suggest that you try using the other Nokia drivers and see if one is compatible with your phone. The phone drivers should be included with the PhoneLink software at palmOne's web site. If you find one that works, please post the result here so others will know.

Mine works, but it's flaky. I can connect to the net and dial via bluetooth, but I cannot send nor recieve SMS messages on my Palm. Also, sometimes it can't find the connection and I have to reboot my phone, then it will work again.

crash331 have you edited the init string to enable you to SMS from your V600?

This needs to be changed to:

E1V1+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";+CMGF=0

(it should be as E0V1 at the moment)

This worked for me, also ensure you use the country code when sending the SMS e.g. 077 = +4477... for UK number.

I just cant Retrieve SMS messages from my V600 yet?

Cheers
