phone calls at boot camp ? ft benning?

so my boyfriend left oct 1st for boot camp at ft benning. we only got calls while he was at reception. in your experince how long was it before you got to call home? and was it only on sundays. or could it really happen anyday? he comes home for christmas..do you think we will get one before then? thanks
 
yeah he wont be able to call you until white phase and thats only if his platoon is doing good so dont get your hopes up about that. hes having alot of fun trust me i did BCT at ft benning and its the hardest one but also the most fun. just write him as many letters that you can and he will write back as soon as he get more free time
 
I couldn't make a call or write a letter until the 4th week. He's fine, bad news travels fast- write him letters and don't expect to hear back.
