Hi there, my car got broken in, and the car stereo was taken. I took my car to Toyota dealership to have the window replaced. Now, insurance company will cover the car stereo replacement, and they need to send someone at Toyota to estimate the damage on the stereo. I called the dealership to remind them that someone from insurance company will have a look at my car tomorrow. Here is how the conversation went:
-1st attempt-
Toyota: "Hello"
Me: "My car is at your shop and is getting my window replaced. There will be a person from insurance company who will estimate the damage on the stereo system........Hello ??"
Toyota: (This person left the phone on the desk while I was speaking. I could hear a guy and a woman talking to each other in the background.)
I thought this person was looking up the data on my car, so I waited. After 5 mins, still no response. I said, "hello anybody ?" No response. I figured that this person left the phone alone for no reason.
-2nd attempt (after 10 mins later)-
Toyota: "Hello" (sounded like the same person who took the call before)
Me: (The same conversation as above.)
Toyota: (Hung up the phone)
Did I do anything wrong here ? Why would this person hang up on my call ?? Any idea ?
