I moved and took my Philips 42" LCD TV with me. I stored it porperly in it's original box. When I tried to set it up again in my new apartment, it all worked except the screen is weird. There is like a missing part of the picture on top of the screen (estimately 1.5 inches) and there are 2 small colored stripes on the left side vertically. I waited 48 hrs.(temperature ? ) but it's still the same. Can anybody advice me ? If the LCD screen is broken, is it easy to replace it by myself? I called Philips but the waranty is gone (1 month) and the trasnport and repair would be more expoensive than buying a new one. Thanks for your help !
