I work in a jewelry store, and while we don't carry the brand, we change a lot of batteries for customers with the Philip Stein watches. I always just assumed they were a good/popular brand, but never thought much else of them. Before the holidays hit, I had a customer tell me about how special they are, and that they have these "natural frequency" or "teslar" chips in them that supposedly make you feel good by putting off the same frequency as the Earth. I did some research, looked at pricing ect... but forgot all about them in the holiday madness. I had to stop by the mall after work, and noticed in a store they had Philip Steins lower-end brand "Fruitz" that still have the frequency disk on sale for $160, when they're normally $225, so I picked one up. I like the looks and will wear it regardless, but I'm really wondering if the "teslar" chips really work? Anyone know about these watches, or owns one? Does it actually calm you, or have any health benefits? I bought it more on the looks rather than the disk (I'm kind of skeptical, hence the question, but it is a adorable watch, looks like a watermelon!), so it wouldn't be a huge disappointment, but is it true a watch can really have health effects, or kind of a scam?
