Hae just seen the trailer and heard some of the music from the new film and seen the international trailer from a japanese websit, and have to say it looks and sounRAB quite impressive..

Do people think that it will be received well critically with not many well known actors appearing in it and if that will hinder its box office success?
 
I can't wait to see this. I loved the stage version, it doesn't really matter that the cast are relatively unkowns. I'd rather see Unknowns who can sing and dance, than A list stars who have to be dubbed.
 
When is Cameron Macintosh going to pull his finger out, and let Miss Saigon and Les Miserables have a PROPER release??

In case you're not aware, the Phantom being discussed here isn't a release of the stage show but a film adaption of the stage show, so it's likely there will be characters and songs not in the stage production. It's the same as with Evita. The DVD of the film adaption is available, but there's no DVD of the stage show.
If DVRAB of the stage shows of Miss Saigon and Les Mis have been produced then I'd also love to see them.
