In 2002 the price of a litre of petrol was 82.9p - this lead to mass protests by both UK hauliers and the general public. However, today the price is 50% higher at £1.21p/litre, so the question I ask, is what are we the UK public going to do about it; and secondly what is our elected Government going to do about it?

The price of a barrel of crude is about $130 and the US motorist currently pays $5 for his gallon of fuel (£2.90). Why oh why do we continually let the politicians of 'rip off Britian' get away with such daylight robbery, with the esculator tax on fuel set to increase?

What should we do?
