I've had xrays done a few months ago. Dentist says my top wisdom tooth is rotted ( i already knew that ) and should MOST LIKELY be causing me problems fairly soon (but hasn't). Out of the four, he says 2 of them need to be removed if not all, but 2 of them for sure. I am now experiencing some pain on the lower, right side, far in the back. My gums looks pretty swollen & it hurts to swallow. I can see that 75% of the tooth has broken through the gum ( it has done this a long while back ) however, the back part of the tooth is still underneath everything. I'm really hoping I can just wait this out. Pain will go away, the tooth with bust through, ( or not ) and I can skip a visit to the dentist. IFFF not, I will have to make that dreadful appointment. I have insurance through the state. Badgercare...I was told by this dentist I went to, my insurance will cover a numbing agent (injection) but everything else will have to be dished out from my pocket...being put to sleep, gas etc. I could have sworn wisdom teeth removal was a " put to sleep " procedure & why wouldn't it be covered under my insurance?! I don't have that kind of money to fork up & I REFUSE to still be awake, only numbed for this to happen. I'd rather honestly have open heart surgery
Ideas, suggestions, remedies for pain, any stories you have would be much appreciated about wisdom tooth pain/removal. Thank you
