perspective on Medicare, scans, tests, etc

I'd appreciate some perspective on the overall situation of choosing Medicare providers -- perhaps combining an M.D., a chiropractor, an M.D. whose specialty is 'diagnostic radiology'....?

Ideally I'd like to get some clear, non-invasive DIAGNOSIS (probably high-tech), some chiropractic treatment if applicable, then some guidance with herbs etc if applicable -- and as much as possible paid by Medicare (I have no other insurance).

I suppose that various local providers already have such informal relationships among themselves, but I'm new to the area and have no doctor or chiropractor at all yet, so I'd like to get an over-view of the issues they would be facing as to what Medicare will and will not approve according to which provider writes the prescription....

If Healthboards this isn't the right site for such a discussion, I'd very much appreciate a lead to some more appropriate site.

I don't now about your area but if you could find a chiropracter who also is an MD you'd be in great shape. We have one here in Birmingham and he is very sought after!
