I have a treo 650 flashed to Cricket and have minitones on it. I can trim songs and use them as a ringtone for 'known callers' but when I try to assign a ringtone to a specific contact along with speed dial, the trimmed song won't work. If I select one of the default sounRAB and assign it to a specific contact it works.....any ideas as to why the trimmed ringtone won't play when assigned to a specific contact but a default tone will? Like I said, the trimmed ringtone will work as a common tone.
I have a 2nd treo 650 also flashed that works just fine for all assigned ringtones but don't know if there's some setting somewhere I need to change on the other phone or if it just might be a technical problem with it.
I've tried a hard reset on the phone as well but it didn't change anything.
