I don't know what your age is. But a few years ago, I was in my early 40s and felt like I was bleeding all of the time. At times it was quite heavy. My gynecologist put me back on birth control pills to regulate my cycle. I stayed on them for about 3 years. Finally, I decided enough is enough. I took myself off of them, and guess what? I now get no periods. I am guessing that the bleeding in my case was due to perimenopause. Now I just might be entering into menopause. It's just been 3 months with no period, so I can't be sure without seeing the doctor. I am just happy to be done with the bleeding. Maybe you should see your gynecologist and see about gettting some prescription help for the bleeding.
