Period school camp please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

i would definately say to just go and have some fun. your monthly will visit it whether you want it to or not no matter what you do! sry hunnie! thats just the way life is! nice huh! haha.

i used to get mine at school dances and stuff. its never fun but im sure you will figure out what to do! =]]

well i have had my period for a year and a bit lol and my chool camp is coming up next monday. i last got my period march 7th. My period arent regular but im not sure as the last 2months they have settled into a 25 day schedule. My camp is on 30th 31st and 1st of MArch and april.

i will be fine if my period is delayed or gone to a 28 day cycle lol but i have a feeling it wont and it will come the day before we go swimming on camp. ive tried tampons and im not ready yet...

i will be fine even if i have it then but the place we are staying doesnt have toilets in the cabin. so if i wake up in the night and need to go it will be annyoing!! or if im busting before bed.

what do i do?

I had the same problem, the idea of tampons seemed a bit daunting and definetly uncomfortable! I had a lot of trouble with getting regular, so my doctor put me on the contraceptive pill. It's also cleared up any cramps that I used to have and given me the option of skipping a period completely, which is what could be useful for you =) Taking the pill is so useful for so many reasons, when you start to have sex later its also a god send (this probably isn't relevant now) but when your younger its so great for managing periods, getting regular, getting rid of cramps etc... I recently went on holiday to the beach and was due. But thanks to the pill, I skipped the period comletely and had a great, fuss free time =) Hope this is helpful.

I would come prepared. I would try pantyliners during the time u think it will come. And if it does come bring ziplock bags. Im a senior in college and i had to do a 30 day camping trip in the desert so i know how much it sucks. Anyways...bring a ziplock bag with toliet tissue roll and extra ziplock bags in it. Wherever it is that you are going to the restroom take the bag and remove the tampon or pad and roll it in the toliet paper and put it in one of the bags since im sure u cant just toss it anywhere.

And i would highly recommend tampons. I know its hard using them but if you are still getting use to them or dont like using them, the best ones are playtex or tampax pearls b/c of the satin applicator that makes it easiest to use.
