Period after sex????

I was two days late for my period then had sex with my hubby STMI soon after i notice light pink spotting, and i woke up dismorning and im still spotting so i was wondering can sex help a late period start or could i be pegnant?
 
I often will start my period after sex with my husband if I am due around that time. It just happens! However, that being said, there is also something called vaginal abrasions that can occur during sex. These abrasions can lead to light bleeding/spotting for a couple of days or so. They are no big deal, just small cuts that heal so no need to worry about that! However, I would think it would be most likely your period starting since its so close to that time for you.
