On Toyota cars they have two shims per brake pad on the front.
Put performance pads on and used only stick on shims included, squealed sometimes when braking. Then put both factory shims on along with stick on shim, squealed every time. Reduced it to one shim from factory and no stick-on shim, just a little squeal here and there.
Now that the stick on shim is gone, would adding the 2nd factory shim help? I have greased the backs of the pad and the shims but still this squeal. Please help! I'm not sure what to do.
